El equipo femenino de Estados Unidos se adjudicó este martes la medalla de oro de gimnasia artística, por delante de los conjuntos de Rusia (plata) y de Rumanía (bronce). Las estadounidenses, medalla de plata en Atenas 2004 y Pekín 2008, no habían vuelto a ver el oro desde que se impusieron ante su público en los Juegos de Atlanta 96.
