Messi bate a Müller como máximo artillero de la historia

Barcelona, 5 dic (EFE).- El delantero azulgrana Lionel Messi, con sus dos tantos en el primer tiempo ante el Betis, ha superado hoy el récord de goles en un año natural que el alemán Gerd 'Torpedo' Müller ostentaba desde hacía cuatro décadas, cuando anotó 85 dianas con su club y selección, una cifra que el argentino ha situado de momento en 86.

Fue en 1972 cuando el entonces delantero del Bayern de Múnich y de la selección alemana, con 27 años, estableció la marca de 85 goles en un año natural, 72 de ellos con el club bávaro y 13 como internacional, en un total de 60 partidos.

Sin embargo, Leo Messi, con sólo 25 años, ha logrado tumbar esa plusmarca con 86 goles en 66 partidos, 74 de ellos con el Barcelona y 12 con la selección argentina, a falta aún de tres partidos más antes de que acabe el año. EFE
