Holanda: Las otras reinas del hockey femenino

Aunque todos los latinoamericanos vibran con 'Las Leonas' argentinas, el hockey sobre césped femenino mundial tiene un equipo que, por lo pronto, supera a las gauchas en títulos y glorias: Holanda. Las neerlandesas defienden en Londres 2012 el oro conseguido en Pekín 2008, son las actuales campeonas de Europa, subcampeonas del mundo y solo cayeron en la final de la Copa Mundo de 2011 ante el equipo de Luciana Aymar. En los Olímpicos 2012 la final más esperada será entre las europeas y la suramericanas y los resultados, hasta ahora, permiten avisorarlo. Además, el entrenador del equipo holandés es Maximiliano Caldas, un capo del seleccionado argentino de finales de los noventa.
