La Avenida 9 de julio en Buenos Aires, una de las más amplias del mundo, colapsó después de que miles de fanáticos recibieran este martes 20 de diciembre a la selección de Argentina, tras coronarse como la campeona de la Copa del Mundo en Qatar. A bordo de un autobús descapotado, su capitán y estrella Lionel Messi y sus compañeros recorren las calles de la capital donde la euforia y la alegría son la constante dos días después de que su equipo se impusiera ante Francia en la que es considerada por muchos la mejor final de la historia del campeonato.

Argentina, un país que respira fútbol se vuelca a las calles en un momento histórico. La 'Albiceleste' ya está en casa tras consagrarse como tricampeón de la Copa del Mundo, luego de una destacada pero ardua trayectoria que le valió la espera de 36 años.

Bajo el sol del verano, vestidos con la camiseta de la selección y entonando cantos e himnos, miles de aficionados se aglomeran en las avenidas de Buenos Aires para ver pasar en un auto bus descapotado al equipo que se alzó con el trofeo el pasado domingo 18 de diciembre, en una vibrante final ante el seleccionado francés.
